After being a couple for such a while,

You know what she wants to hear.

And when it comes time for you to speak them,

They must be heartfelt, and sincere.

You cannot force them out,

For this is very wrong.

And when you make it through this trying time,

Then together, you obviously belong.

Those three little words that you will utter

Are so meaningful, yet true.

And that magic phrase that will bond your souls,

Are just those three little words:

“YOU WERE RIGHT!”
