The Temptress

I look into her eyes,

They are filled with desire and want.

It is here that I see the soul of the Temptress

Clouding my judgment, enticing me with her beauty.

I cannot give in to her, seeing the path I cannot follow.

For this Temptress knows not what she does.

I must not be captured by this Temptress

For she is Queen of another kingdom, and I am just a commoner.

If someday we meet on a different highway traveling on another journey,

Maybe then this Temptress shall be just as I…a vehicle on the road to happiness.
