My Friend, My Shoe

I’ve noticed that a friendship can be just like a brand new shoe;

Sometimes they don’t fit just right when they are first tried on as new.

They both may take time to conform, so you can feel at ease at having them around.

You realize then how much they can say to you, without ever uttering a sound.

But, here’s a common trait, be it from the friendship or the shoe

Is something I bet you never thought of, but it really is quite true!

This is the lesson I’ve learned from both, and here it is in short:

IF THE SOLE/SOUL IS TRUE ON EITHER ONE, THEY WILL OFFER YOU SUPPORT!
